AS3433

The FibTel Unit provides conversion between Singlemode or Multi-mode to a simple telephone ROLI (FXS).

The units can be connected as shown below to provide a long line extension or hotline facility between two handsets in a lift to ring configuration. Local signal connections are presented on an RJ45 for test purposes and screw terminal for permanent installation. Fibre connection is via ST connectors and patch leads can be provided to SMA, SC or other fibre connection variants.

Power is provided from a standard mains outlet and the unit is equipped with its own internal battery source.

Unit as standard is Single Mode but can be supplied with an optional interface card for Multimode or High Power Single Mode.
